PRIVACY POLICY — RISHTA LINK

Rishta Link ("the App", "we", "us") helps adults find a marriage match
("rishta") through member profiles, professional matchmakers, identity
verification, and private chat. This policy explains what we collect, how we
use it, and your choices. By using Rishta Link you agree to this policy. The
App is intended only for users aged 18 and above.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
- Account details: name, email address, and phone number you provide at sign-up.
- Profile information: photos/videos, bio, age, gender, city, education,
  occupation, religion/sect, marital status, family details, and partner
  preferences that you choose to add.
- Identity verification data: a photo or PDF of an identity document
  (CNIC / passport / driving licence) and a live selfie, used only to verify
  your identity. These documents are kept private and are never shown publicly.
- Matchmaker data: for matchmaker accounts, service area, experience, and
  related professional details.
- Communications: messages, voice notes, images, and videos you send in chat.
- Usage & device data: app interactions, a device identifier (for our
  one-device security limit), approximate location/city you enter, and standard
  technical logs.
- Payment data: in-app purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. We do
  not receive or store your card or bank details; we only record the package
  and credits granted.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
- To create your profile and show it to other members/matchmakers per your
  visibility settings.
- To verify identity using automated AI checks (document name/address match and
  selfie-to-photo match); if automated checks are inconclusive, our team
  reviews your documents manually.
- To enable chat requests, messaging, ratings, and matchmaking.
- To operate the credits system and process purchases via Google Play.
- To keep the platform safe (moderation, blocking, fraud and abuse prevention)
  and to enforce a single/limited active-device login for security.
- To send you notifications and Owner announcements.

3. AI PROCESSING
Some features use Google's Gemini AI: writing/translating your bio, suggesting
compatible matches, and assisting identity and content verification. Content you
submit for these features is processed by Google's AI services to provide the
feature. We do not use it to advertise to you.

4. HOW INFORMATION IS SHARED
- With other users: only the profile information you choose to make visible.
  Your email/phone and verification documents are NOT shown to other members.
- With service providers: Google Firebase (authentication, database, storage,
  notifications) and Google Play Billing, who process data on our behalf.
- We do NOT sell your personal data.
- Legal: we may disclose information if required by law or to protect users.

5. VERIFICATION DOCUMENTS
Identity documents and selfies are stored securely and access is restricted to
automated verification and authorized review staff (the platform Owner). They
are used solely to confirm identity and are never published.

6. DATA RETENTION & DELETION
We keep your data while your account is active. You can request account deletion
from within the app or by contacting us; we will delete or anonymize your
personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain
records for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

7. SECURITY
We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls). No
method is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

8. CHILDREN
Rishta Link is for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data
from anyone under 18.

9. YOUR RIGHTS & CHOICES
You can edit your profile, change visibility, control who can contact you, block
users, and request deletion at any time.

10. CHANGES
We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified in-app or by
updating this page.
